"I understand you are the inspector of Tudor court care home in Paignton. I am writing to you to give you some very positive feedback about the home my wife has been a resident at Tudor court for a couple of years sadly she passed away last week. I think the staff team and Shab are marvellous people during this difficult time how they cared for my wife at her end stages was fabulous. I was worried whether I would be able to see my wife, Shab kept me updated and she called me one evening to say Trevor I have put procedure in place and this what we will have to do and you can visit your wife. I came to the home had my temperature taken I signed to say I was covid free and had no symptoms I was given all ppe hand gel and was able to my Betty. She looked lovely room was tidy the girls came in her room to do mouth care and they was writing what they had done. i think the home is excellent and marvellous care. I think during this difficult time Tudor court should be praised for all the hard work and fabulous carers and the manager. You should be proud of this home Kind regards" Trevor Jones. - 18th Nov 2020
"Dear Shabnam and all the wonderful staff at Tudor Court I cannot thank you enough for looking after my Nan so wonderfully well and undertaking the difficult job of end of life care. There really are not enough words to express how well she was cared for at Tudor Court. Thanks to every member of staff for their thoughtful care. Mum and I know she found great enjoyment in listening to music whether on the ipod or via the television and supporting us as family members. We also thank the residents as it was nice for Nan to have contact with others she had been very isolated in her own home. I have such admiration for all your staff as when Nan arrived at Tudor Court in November she had already lost a lot of her character and personality to dementia, she was very different to the person she used to be, making the task of caring for dementia patients very challenging. Tudor Court has a warm family atmosphere and the amount of activities provided for the residents has been lovely, and you can see how much they enjoy them. It is brilliant you can visit the home at any time of day which has meant family members can pop in around their jobs. I have to also praise the delicious food provided. I am so happy we chose Tudor Court! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Yours Sincerely" Sara Smith - 11th June 2019
Our Mother Doreen Snow was a resident in Tudor Court from July 2018 to July 2019 where she passed away peacefully. During her stay she received first class care and attention at all times and was very happy to be there. Nothing was too much trouble for the carers and nurses etc who took pride in the care and attention given not only to Doreen, but to every resident in their care. We often arrived unannounced, and found everything to be 100% on every visit. This reflects very highly on everyone from the gentleman responsible for maintenance, the domestic workers, the kitchen staff, carers, nurses, etc.. right through to top management, Shabnam who gave outstanding commitment, not only to the residents, but also the families and her working colleagues. As a family we cannot express enough our thanks and gratitude for the care and commitment Tudor Court gave Doreen. Nothing in this world is perfect, but Tudor Court is extremely close!!
